TEEMANAY, a.k.a “Young Icon” is an International Afrobeats singer,songwriter, producer and human rights activist from Nigeria.

His love for Afro-Global sounds pushed him to travel far and wide in search of a suitable environment that allows him to maximize his potential as a great singer and songwriter with eccentric vocal dexterity. From the struggles of Lagos,to the Glitters of Johannesburg and eventually found himself in the City that never sleeps,New York City, a path that led him to discover his sound which he terms "Afro-Switch"; a modern Afrobeat genre with an influence of Urban RnB and Caribbean sound. So far, Teemanay has released hit singles and a debut EP titled "Timeless" and has performed both locally and across the globe. Teemanay is currently at the forefront of every African related concert throughout the City of New York and the Tri-State,concerts such as the Nigerian Independence Festival( 2019,2020, and 2021), African Restaurant week festival, Ghana Entertainment Awards USA, New York Fashion Week Festival and was the headliner for the Afrobeats festival of the Schomburg Center Of Museum Of Arts (New York City) in 2018 and 2019, to mention a few. He is currently described as "The New Vibe of Afrobeats". His passion for Pan-Africanism has placed him at the forefront of Everything Africa related and rightfully earned his spot as an International Ambassador for "Africa Everything", a platform he uses to fulfil his purpose of impacting lives.
